TIGGO 8 Super Hybrid: Aspire or Summit?
Both bring seven seats and plug-in hybrid power. The useful decision is which equipment you will appreciate every day.
At a glance
- Aspire already includes wireless smartphone connectivity and a 540-degree camera.
- Summit adds front-seat heating and ventilation, a heated steering wheel and upgraded audio.
- Compare the same powertrain and try the extra features before choosing.
Compare equipment on the same powertrain
Start with two TIGGO 8 Super Hybrid specifications: Aspire and Summit. Both are seven-seat plug-in hybrids; the separate petrol TIGGO 8 is a different powertrain decision.
That distinction matters when comparing quotations. Ask for the same powertrain, paint and purchase basis on both trims, with any options and retailer savings shown clearly. A monthly payment alone will not explain the equipment difference.
Aspire: start with what is already included
CHERY’s current UK equipment information lists 19-inch alloy wheels, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 540-degree panoramic camera for Aspire. It gives you a useful starting point without moving straight to the upper trim.
At your viewing, try connecting your own compatible phone and look at the camera display from your normal driving position. Camera views support your observation; they do not replace checking around the vehicle.
Summit: comfort you can try for yourself
Summit’s UK equipment list adds heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel and heated second-row seats. These are useful features to demonstrate with the people who will use the car, rather than simply ticking them off a list.
Invicta also lists a head-up display for Summit. Sit in your usual position and check how its information appears through the windscreen, including with any glasses you normally wear.
Listen to the audio difference
CHERY’s current UK offer information identifies a 12-speaker Sony system on Summit. Invicta lists eight-speaker Sony audio on Aspire, so take familiar music and compare the systems at a comfortable volume.
Listen from the passenger seats as well as the driver’s seat. If audio matters to your family, a short demonstration is more useful than choosing by the speaker count alone.
Check the everyday convenience extras
Invicta’s Summit specification also lists a panoramic glass sunroof and a powered tailgate with hands-free opening. Try the roof from both rows and have the team demonstrate the tailgate’s controls and operating conditions.
For a family car, make the demonstration practical: arrive with your usual bags and check the height and access that suit your parking space. Photographs show selected equipment, so use an itemised specification to establish what is fitted.
Which trim earns its place in your budget?
Aspire is the starting point if its connectivity, camera and standard equipment already cover your priorities. Summit deserves a closer look if the extra seat comfort, audio, head-up display and convenience features are things you will regularly use.
Ask your Invicta CHERY team for a written comparison of the two Super Hybrid grades and a current quotation. Confirm the model year and fitted equipment of the car offered, then choose the features that make your own journeys easier.
