Performance

The Jaecoo 7 SHS-H Super Hybrid powertrain features a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and an electric motor, delivering 224hp and 310Nm torque combined. The SHS-H system drives the front wheels through a DHT automatic gearbox, allowing for a seamless blend of pure electric or hybrid power. The model returns up to 51.8mpg, and as the 1.8kWh battery is recharged through regenerative braking and direct drive, there’s no need to plug in.

Exterior Design

Bold and distinctive, the Jaecoo 7’s design is built around eye-catching surfaces and details. The large waterfall grille is connected to the high-level running light clusters, and flanked by the quad headlight projectors on the outer edge of the bumper. Dark cladding on the lower bodywork and the wheel arch surrounds give the Jaecoo 7 a rugged edge. Stylish aerodynamically optimised 19” alloy wheels not only look the part, but contribute to the car’s impressive efficiency.

Interior design

Crafted for comfort and convenience, the Jaecoo 7 SHS-H has a spacious cabin with room for five. Off-road inspired handles feature on the door cards, and the elegant dashboard houses two high-definition display screens. Whether finished in fabric or synthetic leather, the front seats provide comfort and support on all journeys. Two ISOFIX child seat anchors feature on the second row, with a spacious 500-litre boot behind. For transporting larger items, this can be increased to 1,265 litres.
