Performance

The Jaecoo 8 SHS-P Super Hybrid powertrain features a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, pair of electric motors and a 34.5kWh battery. This delivers 428hp and 510Nm torque combined, driving all four wheels for all-wheel drive. The large battery offers an electric-only range up to 83 miles, with a combined petrol-electric range over 700 miles possible. The Jaecoo 8 plug-in hybrid can charge from a home wallbox, public DC rapid charger, or self-charge on longer journeys.

Exterior Design

Elegant and expressive, the Jaecoo 8 pairs the signature waterfall grille with curved bumper detailing at the front. With its darkened rear pillars, the roof appears to float above the sculpted bodywork that features angled character lines on each side. The long wheelbase is punctuated by gently flared arches, each containing machined 20” alloy wheels with a black and silver finish. Bright LED lights feature at both ends, complete with dynamic indicators.

Interior design

The Jaecoo 8 is available as a 6 seater and 7 seater, offering supreme flexibility. All models feature a pair of seats that rise from the boot floor. When stowed, the car has a 738 litre boot. As a seven seat Luxury model, the Jaecoo 8 has a three-seat second row with two ISOFIX points. The six seat Executive features a pair of adjustable chairs with heating, ventilation and massage functions. All models feature high-quality materials throughout, and two intuitive 12.3" infotainment screens.
