The quick choice: everyday value or extra comfort?
If you have settled on an OMODA 5 petrol, the next decision is about equipment. Knight keeps the purchase price lower while retaining the automatic gearbox and smartphone connectivity. Noble adds the comfort and convenience features that can make a difference when you use the car every day.
This comparison covers the current UK 1.6-litre petrol model. Knight and Noble names also appear on the hybrid and electric range, but their equipment lists are different. For help choosing an engine first, see our OMODA 5 powertrain guide.

The published price difference is £3,500. These are OMODA UK’s petrol on-the-road prices checked on 13 October 2026, before optional extras. Invicta’s current offers and individual stock quotations may differ.
Both petrol trims use a 147 PS turbo engine, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Choosing Noble changes the equipment, rather than buying a more powerful petrol engine. See OMODA’s UK petrol specification.
Why Knight deserves a place on your shortlist
Knight makes sense when your priorities are the car itself: a five-seat SUV, familiar petrol refuelling and useful connected technology. You can bring navigation, music and calls from a compatible phone onto the display without selecting the higher trim.
A lower starting price also leaves room to consider insurance, servicing and the accessories you actually want. Compare the total quotation for each car, including paint and any finance costs, rather than judging the decision only by a monthly payment.
During a showroom visit, try the reversing camera and sit in your usual driving position. If the equipment already covers your needs, Knight is a straightforward choice.
When the Noble extras are worth considering
Noble is worth a closer look if you value a brighter cabin, upgraded music playback and more comfort features. The sunroof, Sony audio and ventilated front seats are things you can assess directly, rather than relying on a specification sheet.
The powered tailgate may be useful when carrying shopping or luggage. Ask the team to demonstrate it and compare the wheel designs in person: the visual difference is noticeable, but the right choice comes down to the features you would use.
Both versions retain a manufacturer-listed 380-litre boot with the rear seats upright. Trim choice does not turn the petrol OMODA 5 into a larger SUV. Explore the OMODA 5 petrol.
