A road trip with a remarkable destination
For the travellers featured in Dacia’s Bucket List adventure story, the aim was to see the total solar eclipse on 12 August in Fitero, Spain. A loaned Bigster, nicknamed Umbra, carried them and their camping kit on a journey that eventually covered 3,005 miles.
France, Andorra and Spain all featured, with room in the itinerary for unexpected discoveries. Carcassonne became an extra stop, while a visit to friends in Jaca added another reason to enjoy the route.

One of the travellers’ observations was simple: It was comfortable for the long distances
