OMODA 5: compact and flexible

The 5 is easiest to recommend when value, city-friendly dimensions and powertrain choice are priorities. Petrol suits familiar refuelling, SHS-H improves efficiency without a plug, and the EV offers an official 267-mile range. It is also the least expensive route into the brand.

OMODA 7: the family-sized step

At 4,660mm long, the 7 creates more rear-seat and luggage room without moving into flagship pricing. The petrol version has a 639-litre boot. The SHS-P plug-in hybrid gives up a little cargo volume—590 litres—but adds up to 56 miles of official electric range for shorter journeys.

OMODA 9: the flagship

The 9 is the most powerful, spacious and premium OMODA. Its plug-in hybrid system offers all-wheel drive, an official electric range of up to 90 miles and 660 litres of boot space. It is also the quickest of the three, with a quoted 0–62mph time of 4.9 seconds.

A quick way to decide

  • Mostly one or two people, tighter parking: start with the OMODA 5.
  • Regular adult passengers, pushchairs or holiday luggage: compare the OMODA 7.
  • Flagship comfort, AWD and long plug-in range: look at the OMODA 9.

A showroom visit is worthwhile because seat comfort, visibility and boot shape rarely come across in a specification table.
